We want food to feel simple, warm and genuine. For dinner, we aim to use as many local and locally produced ingredients as possible, with a focus on flavours from the area and the season.
Alongside dinner, we also offer wine, beer and non-alcoholic alternatives that suit the menu and the atmosphere of your stay.

Dinner at Hedenstugan is based on simple, well-prepared food in a quiet countryside setting. We work as much as possible with local and locally produced ingredients, and we like to let the season guide the menu.
This means the dinner offering may vary, depending on what is available and what feels right for the time of year. We believe this creates a more personal meal and a better experience for our guests.
A relaxed part of your stay

We serve a generous breakfast with a good selection for a calm and comfortable start to the day. If you have allergies or special dietary requests, please let us know in advance so we can prepare suitable options for you.
If you need to leave before breakfast is served, contact us the evening before and we will prepare something for you to take with you.
Dinner
Dinner is available for our staying guests and should be booked in advance.
We aim to serve simple, well-prepared evening meals in a relaxed setting, using as many local and locally produced ingredients as possible. The menu may vary depending on the season and what is available, which also makes each dinner feel a little more personal.
For us, dinner is not only about the food itself, but also about the atmosphere around it. After a day outdoors, many guests appreciate being able to sit down, enjoy a good meal and stay in for the evening without needing to go anywhere else.
We want dinner at Hedenstugan to feel calm, genuine and connected to the place you are visiting. That is why we try to let the flavours of the season and the local area guide what we serve.
Dinner is usually served between 18:00 and 20:00.
Bar with local drinks
In our bar, you can also enjoy a carefully selected range of drinks in a relaxed setting.
We like to offer local beers when possible, along with whisky, gin, akvavit, wine and non-alcoholic alternatives. It is a simple and enjoyable way to end the day after dinner or after time outdoors.

Barbecue in the grill cottage
As a guest at Hedenstugan B&B Hotel, you can also use our grill cottage with an open fire.
It is a simple and enjoyable way to spend the evening, whether you want to grill, relax by the fire or enjoy a glass of wine in a cosy setting. If you would like, we can also prepare a barbecue package for you.
